CLIENT ACQUITTED OF THREE ACCOUNTS OF DISTRIBUTION OF CRACK COCAINE

Attorney Simms successfully defends client charged with three counts of distribution of narcotics in Staunton County, Virginia. The client faced what some called “a no win case”. A narcotic task force had employed two confidential informants to testify against the client. The informants were equipped with wires and were followed by narcotic agents to a meeting with the client. Following the meeting, the informants met with the agents and claimed that they purchased crack cocaine from the client. Attorney Simms successfully exposed the confidential informants as unreliable witnesses. Moreover, Attorney Simms cross examined the narcotic officers and revealed several gaps in the evidence. Following the conclusion of the trial, the Jury found the client NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES.
